About the Conference

DEAR CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS!

1. Upload the presentation in pdf format (in English) to your personal account before November 9th. You can use your own PPT template for the presentation.

2. The control over the presentation will be provided by the session chair, the presenters are required to prompt for slide shifting. This is to prevent any technical delays.

3. The session timing should be kept within the frames of the program schedule. Each presentation should be limited by 10 minutes, another 10 minutes are allocated for Q&A.

Welcome to the web-site of Ural Smart Energy Conference (USE), which will be held on November 13-15, 2020 in Ekaterinburg, Russia at Ural Power Engineering Institute, Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin.

Ural Power Engineering Institute of Ural Federal University organizes a conference for scientists, researchers, developers and employees in the sphere Power & Energy Sector to promote, share experiences and the latest achievements in the field of power systems.

The main goal of the conference is to bring together students, young and experienced scientists, developers and specialists in the field of power industry to form a new communication platform, enrich cooperation of already established scientific schools and research groups from different universities, research centers and industrial enterprises from all over the world. The conference is expected to synergize integration, systematization and popularization of theoretical knowledge and practical experience as well as to stimulate research and innovation activities.

The official language of the conference is English.

Each author can submit no more than 3 (three) papers. Authors can choose to have an Oral presentation (on-site or online).

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore. IEEE has agreements with almost all of the top publishers, including Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters), Elsevier (Compendex, ScienceDirect, and Scopus), Google Scholar, ACM, IET etc.

Full Paper Submission will be opened from 15th of July until 10th of September 2020.

Conference registration will be available from 18th of September until 10th of November 2020.

Conference fees are paid for each publication included in the conference program. The fees should be paid after the paper acceptance. Regular conference fee: 120 USD. IEEE/CIGRE member conference fee: 95 USD. Conference attendees without paper presentation do not pay any registration fees, but they should also be registered at the web-site (available from 18th of September).
