NGN Award 2020

At the October CIGRE Steering Committee meeting in St. Petersburg (Russia), the Steering Committee approved the creation of a new NGN award for the Paris Session.  During the opening session of the Paris Session 2021, the NGN Significant Contribution Award will be awarded to up to five individuals who have made significant contributions to either a Working Group, Study Committee, National Committee NGN group, or for international NGN contributions. The Award Committee for the 2020 CIGRE Awards has met on the 6th May to review the nominations made for these awards.

The 2020 CIGRE Awards recipients are:

  • Stefie CRAY (Germany)
  • Stanislav EROSHENKO (The Russian Federation)
  • Andreas KUBIS (Germany)
  • Tara-Lee McARTHUR (Australia)
  • Amanda OLSON (The United States of America)
