Call for Presenters NGN and WIE Joint Workshop “Electricity Supply Systems and Network of the Future”

(1) Introduction

This is a proposal for one of cross-SC events in coming CIGRE-AORC Technical Meeting 2020 in KANAZAWA (Japan).
CIGRE has stated a vision of the mission for the Electricity supply systems of the future.

This workshop will take place to look for the future, through the discussions of the participants toward the presentations, which show the roles for the vision, made by the member of Next Generation Network (NGN) and Women in Engineering (WIE) from the AORC countries.

(2) Call for Presenters

  • Number of presenters - Totally 4~5 members in NGN and/or WIE of AORC countries
    (Australia, China, GCC, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, New
    Zealand and Thailand)
  • Study Committee – Engineers in all of SC will be welcomed (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3,
    B4, B5, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, D1, D2)
  • Moderator - Koji KAWAKITA, Chair of CIGRE Study Committee B3

Presenters (one person per country maximum) are invited to submit a following information to the contact person by 2nd December 2019.

  • Presentation title:
  • Presenter name (must be either NGN (under 35 year-old) or WIE member)
  • Relevant SC:
  • Relevant topic in the attached appendix:

(3) Date and time

AM on 16th Apr. 2020, before the administrative meeting (Details of program will be informed at Conference Website at the later day)

(4) Duration of time

Totally 150~180mins.

  • Presentation Time: 25mins of speech, 5mins of Q & As, for each
  • General Discussion: 30mins
