The 2nd International Conference and Exhibition "Digital substation. Standard IEC 61850. Digitalization of electrical networks" will be held in 2019 in Moscow

During the 47th Session of CIGRE in Paris the regular International Conference Agreement dedicated to the development and application of technology "Digital substations" was signed.

 Parties of signing are:

• Andrey Murov, Chairman of Russian NC of CIGRE and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC FGG UES;
  
• Wessel Bakker, Chairman of CIGRE Netherlands” and Business Director at DNV GL;
  
• Igor Kosolapov, General Director JSC R&D CENTER @ FGC UES;
  
• Maurice Adriaensen, Director and Area Manager «DNV GL Netherlands B.V.» (DNV GL — Energy).
  

R&D CENTER @ FGC UES (Russia) and DNV GL — Energy (the Netherlands) have been successfully cooperating for more than 4 years in the field of the certification of products for compliance with the standard IEC 61850. As a result of this joint work — 18 UCA Iug "level A" certificates have been granted to Russian companies, which confirmed compliance of their equipment with the Standard IEC 61850.

In October, 2017, the 1st International Conference and Exhibition "Digital substation. IEC 61850 standard" was held for exchanging of information on the progress of projects and promoting advancing experience. The Conference was organized by R&D CENTER @ FGC UES in cooperation with DNV GL — Energy, supported by PJSC "FGG UES".

Parties considered that it is expediently to make the conference regularly. The theme of the 2nd International Conference is “Digitalizing the electricity grid while ensuring of the interoperability of the apparatus of different types of systems (protection, automation, measurement and control) of different manufacturers, developed in accordance with “Digital Substation” technology based on IEC 61850”.

The 2nd International Conference and Exhibition "Digital substation. Standard IEC 61850. Digitalization of electrical networks" will be held in June 2019, Moscow, Russia.
