FGC CEO A. Murov and CIGRE SG P. Adam open a session of the International Colloquium on Information Systems and Communications
FGC UES Management Board Chairman Andrey Murov and CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric Systems) Secretary General Philippe Adam took part in the D2 International Colloquium on Information Systems and Telecommunications, which is currently being held in Moscow.
In his welcome speech, A. Murov noted that developing the digital economy is a key priority for Russia. More specifically, FGC UES has seen significant growth in the number of research and development projects related to the digitalization of its production and management processes.
The public part of the program features 40 presentations on three topical areas concerning the software platforms for energy management, cybersecurity, communications infrastructure reliability in the energy industry.
The event is attended by more than 150 experts from 26 countries.
The work products by Youth Division of the CIGRE Russian National Committee will be presented as a particular item of the agenda.
The Colloquium is supported by FGC UES.
The International Council on Large Electric Systems, shortly CIGRE, was established in 1921. Its purpose is to enhance technical knowledge and facilitate international information exchange in power generation and transmission.
In 2015, FGC UES CEO A. Murov was elected Chairman of the CIGRE Russian National Committee.
